Last week my family and I visited my aunt, uncle and cousins that live in Cyprus. Thank god Cyprus is close to Greece and the flight was only an hour long!

I had the best time of my life there. Cyprus is so pretty and it has a lot of great beaches, food and other monuments and sights to visit.

There we went to the beach everyday. The sea is so clean and the water is crystal blue and you can even see the bottom.

We visited many other places like the church of Profiti Elia where you could get a great view of the city and the sea. There I actually saw a shooting star which was a really cool and unique experience!🌠 We also visited Ayia Napa which is a city in Cyprus. There we walked through the international sculpture museum which is outdoors and it has a lot of cool sculptures made of stone, marble and even iron and wires. Lastly there, my brother and I took our yearly photo in front of the Black Pearl.

Cyprus doesn’t only have beautiful beaches and cities but also great and really yummy food. My aunt and uncle’s house was close to a main road with a lot of food places which was really convenient if we wanted to grab a bite late at night. We often did so by walking to an ice cream shop and getting a ball or two of ice cream. We would also get Greek and Cypriot souvlakia.

However no beach, sculpture, boat or food can overtake how much fun I had by just hanging out with my aunt and uncle. Just being there with them and being able to spend some time with them was more than enough! I was really glad to see them and I love them so much! I am very sad that we won’t see each other till the next summer but I am glad that we at least had a wonderful time together this summer!
