This past week I have been doing absolutely nothing but watching “Money Heist” on Netflix and going on trips with my family since school was out! π₯π¬πΏ
I thankfully caught up on some sleep and had a lot of fun! It was my brother’s birthday π and he finally turned 12. I can still remember the day he was born… It feels like a week ago…
Anyways, we got Chinese food π£ from a place called “Kumo” in Scarsdale, NY and the food was absolutely delicious. We got some sushi rolls, most of them with spicy tuna inside, and pork buns, shrimp shumai and dumplings. They were all very good. I love sushi since it always tastes fresh and you can eat a lot but not be completely stuffed!
During this break we also went to the Van Gogh Immersive Experience in NYC π¨πΌπ¨π»βπ¨ and it was magnificent. When we went inside it was very neat and organized. It had a small film at the start that talked about Van Gogh’s life and then on the walls his paintings were hung as well as small passages about what was going on in his life during the time he created each of the paintings. Then after the small exhibit we went into a big room full of projectors with big and loud speakers. There it felt as if we were inside Van Gogh’s paintings. The animations moved and there was soothing but also nerve racking music playing in the background. It was very beautiful and a once in a life time experience that everyone should at least attend once in their lives! π½
I love spending time with my family, going on trips and trying new food. Did you do anything fun this week? If so I would love to hear it in the comments below! π See you later! Bye for now ππ»ββοΈπ
