Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good winter because spring is here!! I am so excited for the weather to get better and warmer and the days to be longer. My family and I recently visited the Shanghai You Garden in Flushing, NY. This is a restaurant serving authentic Shanghainese food which is delicious by the way! We ordered a bunch of stuff like pork and shrimp dim-sum, pork buns, soup dumplings, noodles and many more! The best part about this restaurant is that when you spend $10 or more you are able to choose either 1 order of Pork Soup Dumplings or Peking Duck Bun FOR FREE!! There was a little bit of waiting time but the restaurant itself is really big and cozy inside. The food was great and so were the staff, the food was steaming when we were served and we ate every last bit of it! You should definitely consider going and trying a lot of new stuff! 

After a big meal you cannot forget desert of course. On our way to the restaurant we passed by a bakery which we could not ignore. As we were heading back from the restaurant we decided to go in the bakery. The bakery was Tous Les Jours and it had so much stuff. It had all different kinds of bread, pastries, cookies, and even macaroons. I would have loved to try the macaroons but I saw them last minute so I couldn’t get any but next time I go I am definitely trying some! I got a really big chocolate chip cookie which was SCRUMPTIOUS! 

I would definitely recommend both the restaurant and the bakery and if you happen to be in Flushing you should definitely try and go to at least one of them!
