Hey everyone!

I hope you are all doing well! I cannot believe that it is already June! This year has gone by too fast but I am definitely excited to be a High School Senior this upcoming school year.

I just wanted to give you all a little update about where my family and I traveled to this past weekend. So, we of course started our day with a nice brunch at the Dim Sum Palace with amazing Asian, Vietnamese, Cantonese and other kinds of foods from Asia. By this point my family and I are basically considered regulars at this restaurant because of how often we go. It is really funny but last time we ate there most of the ladies passing out the foods from their carts recognized us and were extremely nice! We really love that place and it is definitely a restaurant you should visit!

After that we decided to go on a ride around the city and we came across Roosevelt Island! This is an island in NYC’s East River that is home to some wonderful landmarks, sculpture and park as well as amazing views of the city and the river. This is truly a beautiful place to walk around, have a picnic or just sit in the shade and enjoy the view. It is not very crowded and whoever is there is very respectful and kind. This was a wonderful experience and we were planning on takin the Aerial Tramway that would be very cool and provide us with even more views of the city but it was very windy the day we went so we decided not to go! However, if you get the chance to visit the Roosevelt Island, you should definitely consider bringing supplies for a long picnic in the shade or just a ride on the tram!

This was a really fun trip to the city and I am excited for many more of these to occur since it is summer and school is almost over !

See you later!! 🏖️🌼
