Hey Everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! 🎇✨🎉🎊🎀

I hope you all have a great start to 2022 along with joy and good health!

Also merry (late) Christmas 🎄 to those of you celebrating!

My family and I spent Christmas safe at home. My mom made amazing food and cheesecake desert. Thank god this week I had off from school and I got to relax . One day my family and I had a little road trip to the city. First we visited the Corona Park and the Unisphere in Queens. We walked a lot and even though it was kind of freezing… we had fun. Thankfully there weren’t people there other than 2 or 3 others who were also walking around and we got to enjoy the park. There were many exhibits even though closed but still beautiful and fascinating. Then we went to Dim Sum Palace we had gone last time and this time I actually took pictures like i had promised!!!

I am going to be honest with you guys, throughout this whole week I barely did any of my homework other than the two days where I had nothing else to do. Yesterday I got an email saying that we would be virtual for the next week because of the cases. I enjoy virtual and I think it is a better use of my time as I have more of it when doing virtual school.

Anyways for new year my family and I stayed till 12 and celebrated the new year. HAPPY 2022 lets see what this year will bring to us. 🤞🏼

Today in the morning my family and I cut the vasilopita that we bought from our church. This is a Greek custom where we cut a circle cake that has a coin in it. Each person is given a piece and they search to find the coin. Whoever has the coin in their piece is considered the lucky one and is at times given money by her/ his family members. This year my dad won the coin and he was so happy!!!

I hope you also had a nice Christmas brake and New Year’s day! If you want you can tell me about it in the comment!! I can’t wait to here about your experiences!

Till next time, have fun and be safe!
